Alabama prepares for big news on the recruiting trail per cryptic tweet from Tino Sunseri

It seems that Alabama is about to get some major news regarding recruitment soon.

Tino Sunseri, a support staff of Alabama football tweeted “Tic Tock, Tic Tock” on Thursday, which is what he usually does when Alabama is ready to pull in a commitment.

The five-star athlete Ga’Quincy McKinstry, who chose the Crimson Tide instead of Auburn and LSU, made Alabama’s latest commitment. When recruiting new recruits, there are several names to be aware of, and they may be committed to Alabama next.

Currently the five-star defensive back, Sage Ryan, is Alabama’s only main target, and the commitment date is set this month. This Louisiana product will reveal its commitment on Saturday at noon Central Time. His final three are made up of Alabama, Clemson and Louisiana State.

Another goal of Alabama has hinted at a commitment that is coming shortly.

Four-star athlete Xavian Sorey tweeted that he soon had a commitment but did not offer a date. The Sunseri family has a close relationship to the product of Florida. In an interview in September, Sorey said that his relationship with Sal Sunseri meant a lot to him.

“I’m mainly interacting with coach (Charles) Kelly and Coach Sal (Sunseri). Coach Sal was actually the first one to offer me in Florida. Coach Sal was actually the first one to offer me in Florida. I talk to both of them for real every day.”

Fans of Alabama will need to be alert because some good news is coming.

Alabama football recruiting: Four-star linebacker Ian Jackson commits to the Crimson Tide

Jackson is 6-foot-1, 210-pounder who can help the Tide defense

On Thursday, Alabama’s recruiting class for 2021 got a boost, and it appeared as an in-state linebacker. A four-star prospect from Prattville (Alabama) High School who called Ian Jackson, has committed himself to the Crimson Tide through many high-profile programs, including Auburn, LSU, Georgia and Oklahoma.

Jackson (a 6-foot-1, 210-pounder) is ranked 235th in overall rankings. He is 15th among outside linebackers, and is the 8th candidate in Alabama’s 247Sports composite program.

According to, Jackson said, “I chose Alabama because of the coaching staff and the priority they put on me.” ” They have done nothing but express incredible love ever since coach Saban came down in February. It was definitely a difficult decision when recruiting me at all schools, but it seems like the best match for me.”

Jackson is a great addition to the Crimson Tide defense, which has long been developing fast, physical, athletic linebackers. 247Sports scout director Barton Simmons provided this scout report on Jackson.

Simmons wrote: “Although the frame on the film is not clear, Intel hints that Jackson has a modern second-tier linebacker frame that can add 20 to 30 pounds at the college level.” “It can pass as a big safety, but the development of upside can allow him to play inside or outside linebacker in the future. Excellent tackler in space. Performs well on the perimeter. Can play with constant effort and motivation. Is a moving goal for blockers. Mainly an athlete from East-West, but demonstrates certain ability to muscle up ball carriers. Not expected to play through the line of scrimmage or downhill frequently. When they get hands on him, it may encounter problems. An off-the-ball no coverage linebacker who needs to continue to develop physically, but is definitely a multi-year starter with mid-round NFL potential in a Power Five program.

In the Class of 2021, Jackson is the 6th overall commitment from Alabama and second linebacker pledge. His dedication raised Alabama in the 247Sports team rankings to No. 48 overall and No. 10 in the SEC.
